Inside the Life of Commercial Fishermen

Preserve What’s Left: Protecting our Working Waterfronts

Commercial fishing is an industry central to the Gulf of America's culture and health. This same industry is threatened by a loss of working waterfront – the infrastructure required to land catch and store vessels. Eat local seafood and support your working waterfront today!

Note: Harbors are noisy places – we recommend you avoid headphones during viewing.

Faces of the Gulf

The commercial fishing industry is the backbone of our nation's seafood supply chain. Join us as we celebrate the hardworking men and women who are the Faces of the Gulf.

Gulf Fishermen Give Back

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted us all like nothing else in recent memory. Many lost jobs and their way to provide food to their families. With restaurants shut down, commercial fishermen were tied to the docks. Thanks to Catch Together, reef fish fishermen across the Gulf were able to get back on the water and provide food to families in need.

Commercial Fishermen: Protecting the Ocean and Feeding a Nation

Commercial fishermen work hard to ensure fish populations stay healthy. We are the defenders of the ocean so that we can feed our families and feed the nation.

They Belong To Us All

The wild fish of the Gulf are a God-given resource: They belong to us all.
